Canoeing on the Grand River

Canoe Tripping is about getting back to the basics and enjoying the nature around you.

The Grand River is the largest river entirely within southern Ontario's boundaries. The Grand River is a large river in southwestern Ontario, Canada. From its source near Wareham, Ontario, it flows south through Grand Valley, Fergus, Elora, Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Paris, Brantford, Caledonia, and Cayuga before emptying into the north shore of Lake Erie south of Dunnville at Port Maitland. One of the scenic and spectacular features of the river is the falls and gorge at Elora.

The Great Canadian Canoe Experience is the perfect way to start your day! Paddle through the peaceful waters of Grand River. This is the best time of day for animal sightings in this area so keep watch for loons, eagles, osprey, and more all with the backdrop of the gorge.

"Either way, it is a good way reduce stress levels and increase energy."
